Looking back at my college friend's photos of the last three years, I've come into realization that I didn't spent much time with them. That can't be blamed, as I'm not really that sociable, and the most important factor is that I figured I've grown up a lot.
This shows how important is the past to us, serving as a constant reminder of our consciousness. That's one of the reason why learning history is important; not to repeat the same mistake over again.
The fact that I didn't create many memories with my college friends is undeniable, but throughout these three years, I've gained something in return.
That's right, my passion for writing and a lil bit of lingering feelings with music itself.
People look at their photos taken to see how much they have grown up, but to me, it's a bit different. My story takes over the role, and everytime I write/read/edit the story itself do the trick.
I'm glad that, at least, I didn't waste my life away for nothing. I let out a long sigh. My story is the evidence of my life, and it signifies my presence in this tiny little world. At least, in the midst of the loneliness I still have something intangible to hold on to.
Haha, I'm just being slightly melancholic and enthusiastic about my life here. And say, readers, tell me what about your own evidence of life?
Before I end this entry, I'd like to share a song with everyone here.
Written In the Stars
Westlife
[Shane:]
Stay with me
Don't fall asleep too soon
The angels can wait for a moment
Come real close
Forget the world outside
Tonight we're alone
It's finally you and I
It wasn't meant to feel like this
Not without you
[All:]
Cos when I look at my life
How the pieces fall into place
It just wouldn't rhyme without you
When I see how my path
Seem to end up before your face
The state of my heart
The place where we are
Was written in the stars
[Bryan:]
Don't be afraid
I'll be right by your side
Through the laughter and pain
Together we're bound to fly
I wasn't meant to love like this
Not without you
[All:]
Cos when I look at my life
How the pieces fall into place
It just wouldn't rhyme without you
When I see how my path
Seem to end up before your face
The state of my heart
The place where we are
Was written in the stars
[Mark:]
I made a few mistakes, yeah
[Shane:]
Like sometimes we do
[Mark:]
Been through lot of heartache
But I made it back to you
[All:]
Cos when I look at my life
How the pieces fall into place
It just wouldn't rhyme without you
And when I see how my path
Seem to end up before your face
The state of my heart
The place where we are
Was written in the stars
[All:]
When I look at my life
How the pieces fall into place
It just wouldn't rhyme without you
When I see how my path
Seem to end up before your face
The state of my heart
The place where we are
Was written in the stars
[Shane:]
The state of my heart
The place where we are
Was written in the stars
