    A Weekend in College

Last Saturday (coincidentally during the Valentine's Day), I went to my college for a book-reading session. It didn't go on well as the stupid THOL Library which we paid so much for it, closed at 2pm sharp. What the hell is that? Aren't the library is suppose to be closed at 5pm instead?

Fine, I went to a quiet corner nearby the area of Victoria University, but I had to admit, I hate the tables and chairs there. I require almost-perfect condition for myself to read and enjoy a book, and that must be provided by comfortable seating at least. Lighting plays an important role, but less significant compared to fixtures requirement.

First of all, the chair was solid hard and no matter how I tried to reposition myself, it still wasn't comfortable enough for me to read a book. In the same time, the metallic table was too low for me to lean my book against its surface, so there's another deduction of point here. To make the matter worst, since the table was made out of iron/steel, naturally it absorbs heat, and for God's sake, 2pm in the afternoon studying under the intense heat from our almighty Sun, imagine how my book and fingers are going to get fried. Air, again, was important for a comfortable reading, yet again the environment of VU didn't really provide that for me. The air circulation was really bad back then.

After a painstaking reading of an hour or two, I had to walk around in order to release the tension among my muscles unless I'm gonna be paralyzed for the rest of my life. And then only I met something bizarre which I'm gonna mention in the next post.

    Stay tune.
