I admit that I am no sucker for happily-ever-after type of ending. I, however, prefer tragic ending. They're classic, they're astonishing, and they excite me to no end.

I believe that in order to achieve a happy ending, something -at least in equal amount- is needed to be sacrificed.

Let's just take an easy example. Cinderella's ending.

At the cost of her marriage with the prince (yeah, I've actually read a very nice fiction that portray the tragic ending of hers, a more twisted version of the epilogue), maybe someone is suffering behind-the-scene.

I don't know what that might be (I admit I'm not good at explaining stuffs), but all of my stories are either with a sad/grim/tragic or a moderately-happy ending.

Haha, what a sadist I am.
