Well, I've been stressing this out too many times in the past, but this time I think I should write it out.
In my personal opinion, I think too many people take life too seriously. What I mean by serious is, to me, life is all about enjoyment, not getting stressed out for everything in your life.
Thus, I dare to say, life is about getting as
crazy as possible.
The definition of the craziness, of course, isn't the ordinary lunatic type, but getting as
wild as you can with the infinite power that originates from your mind.
Do what you feel like you should do.Say what you feel like you shold say.Try what you feel curious about. This is because once your mind stop function (i.e. the day you die, or the day your
brain dies), you won't have any more chance to do so. I believe our mind is the greatest gift from God, and that is the reason why we're superior to other species.
Back to our topic, I'd like to quote one line here:
"Why so serious?"Sometimes, I got irked by those people who seeks for absolute logical. First of all, I think these people are narrow-minded (I'd say they could only see things 'straight', but not the other way round), and secondly, I'm pretty certain they're lack of some creativity.
You'd ask me, that's not true, but think about it again. Usually, they just stick to a single point (and try to find supporting facts to assist their argument), but too bad, I don't think the world works that way. The reason is simple, because this world is changing on a daily basis. What is reasonable now, may or may not be logical tomorrow, so there are bound to be changes. Moreover, we CAN always reach for the same answer in lot of ways - just the same as how Mathematics works.
And my best defensive statement will be that of, these facts are all created by human beings, thus there are bound to be errors in term of judgmental. This is why people keeps on revising theory & standards/laws (or simply come out with a new stuff replace the existing one).
That's the reason why, I think creativity (a.k.a. innovation in certain viewpoint) is the most important things that makes the world goes around.
I know you'd tell me not everyone is born with a good amount of creativity, but mind you, I believe the reason is because they never utilize it in the first place. Newborn children are all gifted with a certain level of such talent, and it's entirely up to them to polish it, or just grab someone's else thinking and stick with it, which is what we call - beliefs. So that's why I believe those people, or children, who take up early interest in arts or any creative-related interest will outshine the others -in term of creativity- when they grow up.
If you still aren't convinced, let me ask you something. Say, when you enjoyed the beautiful art or design of someone, don't you ever think you can do that if you give it a try, or perhaps, after some training? I believe it's entirely achievable, cause it's just a matter of how much efforts/time you're willing to pay in.
Nothing comes for free.People tends to shy away from creativity due to few main reasons:
- Laziness (the greatest enemy of mankind)
- Excuses (.having not enough time, bla bla bla...)
- Influence by 3rd party (friends tell you can't do it, then you give up)
- Self-esteem issue (I can't do it, man! I've heard that countless time)
Oh, I forget to mention, also the lack of
passion. :)
Linking back to the topic, I'd say creativity is the source of almost everything. It is because of such talent, we human can invent new items, develop new theories, create different arts. Not forget to mention, movies exists because people transforms their creativity in real pictures.
That's why I'm saying now, think out of the box. Nothing is absolute in this world, and we can always reach for the conclusion with different ways. It's just like taking another way to go back your home when your usual path is stuck with traffic jam.
For conclusion, I'm not saying that being logical isn't good, but there are times for us to be
wild, certainly. Just like the saying -
study hard, but play hard too. In the end they're both the same concept, but just being applied in different situations. Just try not to tie up yourself too hard to the reality cause it's very tiring, as the solution people usually seek were to escape the realism through movies. (fantasy thingy~)
You get the idea, right?
Certainly a long post, but I'm not sure whether I've mention everything that I'm trying to say. If I find any missing in the future, I'll write out another additional post to support this one.
Until then. Cheers~
